Three raccoons survive a shipwreck and wash up on an island made of blocks of sand, soil and rock. They have a hammer, a saw and a pile of whatever floated ashore, and nobody to tell them what to do except you.
You never steer a raccoon. You mark: a tree to fell, a rock to break, a patch of ground to dig out or level. The nearest free raccoon takes the job, swings until the work is done, and carries every log and stone home one trip at a time. The campfire founds the colony; the storehouse, sawmill, workshop and beds follow, each raised swing by swing.
The island does not make it easy. Raccoons get hungry, thirsty and tired, nights come, and a raccoon pushed too far collapses. The colony buries its own and carries on. Age of Raccoons is made by one developer in Brno, on the game systems of the turn-based tactics game European Directive – Tactics.
