Three raccoons wash up on a blocky island with a hammer, a saw and a pile of whatever floated ashore. You don’t steer them. You mark what needs doing, and the colony gets to work.
Orders
Click a tree and it is marked. The nearest free raccoon runs over, fells it, and carries the logs home one by one. Rocks are broken the same way. Drag over the ground to level it, or pick a dig tool to dig it out or heap it up, cube by cube or half a metre at a time. Click the ground anywhere else and a raccoon goes to have a look.

The colony
The survivors start with a pile of things lying on the beach where they stand. Every trip carries one piece: a log on the shoulder, a stone in the paws. Once a storehouse stands, the pile is carried into it piece by piece, and the colony takes what it needs from the nearest store that has it.
Buildings
The campfire comes first: it founds the colony. Then the storehouse, the sawmill that turns logs into planks, the workshop that turns planks into sticks and tools, beds to sleep in, and graves. Every building is raised swing by swing, and some need the right tool in the right paws.

Survival
Raccoons get hungry, thirsty and tired. Days end and nights come. Push a raccoon too far and he collapses, and if nobody helps he does not get up again. The colony buries its own.

The island
The island is blocks of sand, soil and rock, with streams of fresh water and the sea all around. Most of it starts under fog: it clears where the raccoons go, and the minimap shows what they have seen. Birds live on the island too, and they can be hunted.
The look
The world is drawn like a pencil sketch over low-poly shapes, and the raccoons wear real fur.
